Upon the announcement of the death of Pope Francis, a Book of Remembrance has been placed in the Cathedral for all to sign and the Cathedral will remain open between 9am and 5pm.
Bishop Peter will celebrate the 10am Mass on Wednesday 23rd April.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be held at 6pm on Thursday 24th April with priests from around the Diocese who are able to attend.
There will be ecumenical Solemn Vespers at 6pm on Friday 25th April with local church leaders and civic dignitaries in attendance.
Additionally, the 11am Mass on Sunday 27th April will be to pray for Pope Francis.
