With the season of tower tours now behind us, we’re excited to announce a new series of Cathedral Tours this autumn! Join us as we explore the fascinating architecture and stained glass artistry that make the Cathedral of St John the Baptist such a treasured landmark.
Each tour offers a unique perspective on the building’s rich heritage, with expert guides delving into the craftsmanship, history, and hidden details of this sacred space.

Stained Glass Windows Tour – A second chance to experience the beauty and meaning of the Cathedral’s iconic windows.
All proceeds from the stained glass tours will go towards the Restoration Fund, supporting essential work to preserve the deteriorating South Aisle windows—each costing over £22,000 to restore.
