26th September 2026, the D’Sepra Band (our parish Filipino band) held their annual charity concert in the Narthex.
Over 100 friends and family from around Norwich and the diocese attended the concert and supported the event with generous donations of food, raffle prizes and contributions. The aim of this year’s concert was twofold; to fundraise for the ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor) scholars and for our parish youth attending Flame 2027 and World Youth Days 2027 in Seoul, Korea.
£2,180 was raised from the ANCOP concert with £1,100 going to the scholars programme and £1,080 to the parish youth. It was a wonderful night of good tunes, great vocals, delicious food courtesy of Joan Pape and her wonderful team of volunteers and cakes by the St John’s Youth Group. The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended and supported this annual charity concert and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
