Pilgrim Cross is an Easter pilgrimage for all ages that walks every year to Walsingham – an ancient site of pilgrimage in Norfolk. There are 7 adult walking routes and 4 family routes, where participants live and walk in community for one, three or seven days before spending an amazing weekend celebrating Easter in the ruins of Walsingham Abbey.

The pilgrimage is a way of celebrating Easter like no other and the friendships you make during the week last a lifetime, but what we appreciate most is the opportunity to step out of the busyness of everyday life for a week and just be.

The Oxford route is a bit like our journey with God – it may not be the most direct, but we get there together in the end! Each year the group is reformed with new people joining those who have walked before – and there is always a great mix of ages, as we embrace Christian & non-Christian traditions which encourage us all to receive, to give and to grow as a group. We are very fortunate to be accompanied by a Jesuit priest as our Chaplain, who is at hand to answer any questions and to help guide us on our own spiritual journey.
