October is a month devoted to Mother Mary. This year, to mark this devotion, a statue of Mother Mary with baby Jesus in her arms has been visiting the homes of parishioners for evenings of prayer and fellowship.
Our parishioners have also shared their birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions with Our Lady,
making each visitation a special blessed time for them, their families and friends.
As we continue the visitations over the rest of this month, may we be filled with the Holy Spirit, and echo the words of Elizabeth’s greeting to Mary on her visit to her home…
“Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your
womb”
